The short version
Print Resume doesn’t have accounts, doesn’t have a server-side database, and doesn’t store the resume you build anywhere but your own browser. We don’t see it, and we can’t access it. The only outside party involved is Google, through the ads that keep this tool free — details on that below.
What we collect
The resume you build. Everything you type — your name, work history, education, and everything else — is saved using your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device. We never receive it, transmit it to a server, or have any way to view it.
Basic usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs standard technical information (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes. This is aggregate, not tied to your resume content, and not sold to anyone.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and measure how well they perform. As part of this, Google may use information about your visits to this and other sites to serve ads it believes are relevant to you.
You can see and control what Google knows for ad personalization at Google Ads Settings. If you’d rather opt out of personalized advertising more broadly, the Digital Advertising Alliance (US) and Your Online Choices (EU) both offer opt-out tools that work across most advertisers, not just Google.
We also remember your theme preference (light, dark, or system) and template/color choices locally in your browser, purely so the app looks right when you come back — not for tracking.
Your rights, wherever you are
Rather than offering different rights in different places, we apply the same baseline to everyone, regardless of country: you can access, correct, or delete your information at any time — and since your resume data lives only in your browser, that’s as simple as clearing your browser data or using the reset option in the app.
If you’re in the European Union or UK, this covers the rights guaranteed under the GDPR. If you’re in California, it covers the CCPA/CPRA. If you’re in Nigeria, it covers the NDPR. If you’re anywhere else, it applies just the same — we don’t limit these protections to specific jurisdictions.
Children's privacy
This tool isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country). Since there’s no account system and no server-side data collection, there’s nothing for us to hold or delete either way — but if you believe a child has used this site inappropriately, reach out through the details on our GitLab organization page and we’ll look into it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. We’d encourage checking back occasionally, but since nothing here depends on an account or email address, we have no way to notify you directly.
